about
I had honestly had this title for some time. The O.G. meaning is the meaning of Jermiside itself, a germicide kills germs. All the negatives in life can be veiwed as the "germs". All the things that proliferate in the world that you would rather see gone.
I started officially working on this project early 2007 at the start of a rough ass patch which is when it started to take on a different meaning. I didn't want to do music anymore (so i thought), I was broke as hell, a close family member got snatched from the planet among other things...just a grim feeling moment in time. It was originally supposed to be an exit or some kind of closure musically
Eventually as things started back on the up and up I decided to stop making tracks in that vein and just put together a mixtape of songs that best captured that moment in time like a snapshot of those emotions and thoughts.
